Once I receive an enquiry from you I will get in touch to chat about your requirements. I will ask you lots of questions to make sure I get the best photos possible for you.
A typical shoot will last about an hour or so depending on requirements. I am happy to take as long as it takes but once animals get bored it's time to stop so we will always play it by ear. Don't panic if things don't go to plan!
I will always spend time getting to know your pet and trying to put it at ease at the beginning of the session. It's a good idea to bring favourite treats or toys.
I'll ask you what type of pet I am photographing, what's it's name, how old is he/she?
I take the health & safety of you and your pet very seriously so I will ask you if your pet has any allergies or behavioural issues that you know about of which I should be aware. e.g. If it's a rescue dog that you haven't had for very long or if it is fearful of anything, anything that I should take into consideration.
Don't worry if in the case of dogs they can't be let off the leash, if need be they can be edited out of photographs. Always make sure you've put your pet's best collar on for the photos although it's nice to remove it altogether if possible.
This is very much up to you. If you want outdoor photos you need to consider where you would like them taken. e.g. On their favourite walk or in the park in front of a pretty flower bed or down by the rocks on the seashore - options are endless.
If you prefer the studio shots then they can be taken at my home in my studio or if you have room I can come to your home. You can of course have both.
There will be a nominal travel cost for me to come to you if over 20 miles.
